Kristin + Peter

Vail, CO

I got a whole year to plan this epic wedding, and in that time got really close to these two amazing people, and their families. This wedding started off breathtaking to begin with, with its remote location outside of Vail, and 200 of their closest friends traveling the country to celebrate. But mother nature amped it up as the winds whipped through and sideways rain poured down right before ceremony. But these two (and all 200 guests) said "hell yes!", to the conditions and sealed the deal in the pouring rain. The love was contagious that night, and I have yet to see a dance floor lit up like this one was!

Sam + Chris

Lyons, CO

This was one of the most relaxed weddings of the year. No stress to bring anyone down, and the day just radiated with a peaceful love and lightheartedness. The bride created the most stunning bouquets from home grown flowers, and dinner was under a crisp September sky. But as the night kicked off, the dance floor heated up, and the groom surprised his new bride with a sizzling lap dance, and dance offs blazed across the floor. What a way to kick off a marriage!

Christine + Scott

Keystone, CO

These Texans were a total blast to work with, and their photos speak volumes to this. It can be risky bringing your entire sea level family up to one of the highest peaks in Colorado, but their love of the mountains was palpable, and after some oxygen hits and wedding planner required sunscreen applications, we were all good to go! An intimate ceremony on one peak and a gondola ride to the Outback for dinner on a warm June evening made this an unforgettable experience. Plus this was the most epic cake smash in history!

Chris + Jon

 Tabernash, CO

This was one of the most magical weddings I have ever been a part of. From the outside, what might have looked like everything going wrong (a freak snowstorm, the mariachi band arriving hours late, having to flip the ceremony into the reception in record time) were actually the things that made this wedding so special.

Moving the wedding to the reception hall kept everyone warm in what became blizzard-like conditions. And then we decided to open the barn doors right before Chris walked down the aisle - cue the communal gasp of awe at the reveal of the snow-covered mountains behind the stunning bride as she walked to her groom.

Jon's surprise mariachi band ended up arriving in perfect timing for an impromptu cocktail hour dance party. And the reception hall was dazzling in all its Game of Thrones glory: long wooden tables draped with garlands of greenery, floral chandeliers, a roaring fire... and over 500 mini French pastries for dessert - Oui, s'il te plait!

Erica + Morgan

Durango, CO

This wedding was the true definition of breathtaking. From the remote location outside Durango where the ceremony was held, to the group campground location we "glamped" up with market lights, tons of greenery and florals, and crisp white linens, every part of this day was picture perfect. It rained right up to the ceremony time, but when the clouds parted the air was clean and the sky was a radiant blue.

The majority of the guests camped at the reception location that night, so everyone was free to have as much fun as they wanted (and did they ever!). It was such a joy to be a part of this day.

Vanessa + Justin

Boulder, CO

These two were just a blast to work with - and their pictures show it! Vanessa and Justin rented out an entire resort for their weekend "summer camp" wedding just outside of Boulder. Nestled in a valley of pine trees near a majestic lake, this venue just radiated good energy: from the hot springs pools nestled along the lake, to the teepee where they got to hang out right after the ceremony, to the rustic-chic cabins where most of the 125 guests spent the night.

Maybe it was the fact that Chief Niwot used to take his tribe here to perform healing ceremonies, peppered in with the fact that these two were meant to be.

Spirits were high the whole day, but right before Justin got to see Vanessa he was as giddy as a kid on Christmas. I could barley get his boutonnière on him fast enough.

Even as mist settled over the lake, the mood was high and bright. Guests warmed up in the rustic lodge for dinner before heading outside for toasts around the most epic bonfire I have ever seen. And this was one of the best dance parties to date - so much fun!
